JVS was invited to present three sessions at Limmud Stockholm over the weekend. Our Chair Dan Jacobs took up the challenge.
Here’s a clip from one of the three sessions, featuring Dan alongside Rabbi Yonatan Neril, answering the question: ‘Is a kosher sign (aka a hechsher) on meat, dairy, and eggs from factory farms a betrayal of our ethics and of Jewish values? This was part of a session exploring eco kashrut.
Dan also delivered a cookery demonstration of traditional Jewish dishes that he had ‘veganised’, plus a talk on what it means to be a Jewish vegan.
