Discover how fashion connects to climate, creativity, and justice at this inspiring afternoon with fashion activist Leah Thorn and artist Miki Shaw. Join the a:dress Campaign this Sustainable Fashion Week!  
  • Watch the short film on the a:dress campaign (@a.dress.fashion)
  • See a Subversive Catwalk of up-cycled message adorned clothing.
  • Join honest, inclusive conversations about fashion, the environment, and social justice.
  • Visible mending drop in: bring your well-loved clothing, or any textiles in need of care (or flair!) and learn simple hand-stitching techniques to mend them.
  • Tea and vegan cake included
  • Pop-up stalls with sustainable fashion including leafthief prints and more
Timings: 3-4.30pm  Mending drop-in, tea, cake, pop-up stalls, social space   4.30-6pm Subversive catwalk, short film, talk   Are you a sustainable (and vegan) fashion designer or maker? We’re looking for makers to join our pop-up. Please get in touch if you are interested in having a stall. Pricing: Regular tickets £10 to cover basic costs. If you have the funds to contribute more, we would suggest £15, and any profits will go towards the a:dress campaign. We do not want money to be an obstacle to you attending, so if this is an issue please email  zoe@jvs.org.uk for a concession place.
