We had a fun packed time at our sold out Veganuary 2025 cooking class. Our resident chef Zoe got everyone working in pairs. We made the following dishes: • ginger sesame baked tofu • roasted cauliflower with tahini • roasted broccoli and satay • oyster mushroom parcels • chocolate mousse (2 ways – chocolate orange and chocolate tahini) After our 3 hour cooking session, we sat down to enjoy the fruits of our labour, connected and chatted over our shared love of food. Our participants shared: “I really enjoyed this and I am going home with some new ideas and new enthusiasm for trying something different” – A “I loved the tofu and peanut sauces, it was really easy to follow the recipes and I really enjoyed the community aspect of cooking and cleaning up together and the shared meal” – Yessica “Thank you for an amazing session, the food was varied and so flavourful” – Sara “Amazing afternoon. Lovely, lovely food. You have transformed our kitchen” – Julie and Brian “Thank you so much again for teaching us “Chef restaurant meals” and making me discover that I actually can enjoy tahini!” – Julia document.createElement('video'); https://www.jvs.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/VID-20250113-WA0012.mp4
