Vegan Society launches largest ever collection of merchandise

International charity The Vegan Society has launched its largest collection of merchandise today, featuring tongue-in-cheek slogans on ethically-sourced materials. New products – ranging from T-shirts and sweatshirts to tote bags and hoodies – include slogans such as ‘Powered by hummus’ and ‘Make the planet a bit cooler. Go vegan’. The designs were created by the online platform Teemill, using certified organic cotton in an ethically accredited, renewable energy powered factory, and also include children’s T-shirts. All products are printed in the UK using self-developed low waste printing technology – meaning your T-shirt won’t be printed until you place an order, reducing the amount of potentially unsold clothes. T-shirts start at £19 each with varying prices for other items, and buyers are assured that profits will directly support The Vegan Society’s vital work. Dave Nicholson, Sales and Merchandise Manager at The Vegan Society, said: “We are very excited to be launching our new merchandise collection with Teemill. “This brand new link-up allows vegans to spread the message by wearing specially designed ethically-sourced clothing, whilst being safe in the knowledge that they are supporting The Vegan Society’s crucial work.” The Vegan Society plans to expand the existing range in the nearest future, depending on the success of this new launch.
