Gardening Club Update

Sunday marked the launch of our Garden Club and it was amazing. The sun showed up, so did our community, and we got stuck in with weeding, composting and planning out the raised bed using a veg guide based on companion planting. Big love to our compost corner and all the fab donations that made it happen. Wigwams were built, French beans went in, beetroot planted from the JVS seed stash, plus some generous broad bean and nasturtium flower donations added enormously. There was lots of good energy, fresh air and teamwork as we shaped the space together. It’s still early days for some of the seedlings but the bed’s already looking lush. Major progress for a first sesh and the perfect kick-off to what’s going to be a wholesome growing season. Stay tuned for more leafy updates.
