Why not try these savoury cauliflower bites & drizzle them with tahini? The perfect side for a vegan Shabbat dinner.
The Shwarma spices
1 ½ tsps cumin
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsps tumeric
½ tsp chili powder
1 tsp sumac
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cardamom
1 ½ tsps kosher salt
½ tsp black pepper
Harissa Tahini Sauce
1/4 cup tahini
1 tbsp harissa
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F/220 C Prepare a foil lined or greased baking tray.
2. Chop the cauliflower into bite sized pieces
3. In a medium bowl, mix together all the spices
4. Put the cauliflower pieces in the bowl & coat in maple syrup & olive oil
Add the spices & mix well
5. Roast until golden, crispy and move around throughout cooking
6. While the cauliflower roasts, whisk together the harissa ingredients & add water to make it drizzle-able
7. Drizzle the Harissa tahini sauce over the roasted cauliflower & enjoy
