Donate: our JVS Garden Fundraiser

by
JVS Gardening Club

Big things are blooming at the Jewish Vegan Society 🌱 Literally. We’re turning our garden into a buzzing, inclusive space where people from all walks of life can come together, learn to grow their own veg, and connect with nature.

We already kicked things off with a seed sowing sesh and the little seedlings are thriving. Volunteers are hyped, and we are too. It’s wholesome, therapeutic, and incredibly healing.

This isn’t just about plants, it’s about people. Our community 😊 We have plans for sustainability workshops, mental health boosts, and food grown by the community, for the community.

We need your help to raise £1,000 for supplies like compost and a greenhouse and to ensure the sustainability of the project. We would appreciate any donations big or small, and support with spreading the word about our fundraiser.

We will be having our first garden session this Sunday 4th May at 2pm.

Activities will include:

• Planting our beans on wigwams

• Adding a layer of mulch to the soil from the compost area

• Exploring and organising the shed

• Soaking up the sunshine and getting active together in our beautiful JVS garden!

It’ll be a lovely start to our growing season, we’d love to have you with us.

To grab your prime bean-planting spot, email [email protected] as soon as you can!!
