Nature’s Pantry: Edible Plants of Hampstead Heath & Guided Foraging

by

Ever wondered which wild plants are actually edible? Or just fancy a wholesome day out in nature? Well, here’s your chance! Join us on Hampstead Heath for a guided foraging walk (spaces are limited, so book ahead!).

Led by London National Park City Ranger Michael Green, we’ll spend 2.5–3 hours learning to identify 10–15 edible wild plants—including maror (yep, the bitter herbs from the Pesach Seder). Think fresh salads, herbal teas, and even wild pickles, possibly!

We’ll sip foraged tea, swap knowledge, and connect with Jewish traditions in a hands-on way. Just bring yourself, a notepad, and a reusable cup. See you there 🌿

📍 Location: Hampstead Heath
Accessibility: The walk is on both hard paths and grass, suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, though it may be a tad muddy.
🌿 Come along, embrace the wild, and let’s forage together before Peach!
