The Jewish Vegetarian Society (JVS) is an international charity dedicated to promoting a kinder society, without killing animals for food. We publish a quarterly magazine, The Jewish Vegetarian, provide information about vegetarianism generally and in a Jewish context, and offer advice and support to help people with the transition to a non-animal diet.
We are delighted to announce a new full-time role at the JVS. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Project Officer who can ensure the smooth running of the office and support the Director in the delivery of events, community outreach and campaigns.
This is a very exciting time to join the JVS as we are expanding and developing many new initiatives and projects; including a free community library, workshops, talks, mystery cooking classes, our film club, group trips, meditation and a pop-up café.
The Project Officer will be working in a small team and will have the opportunity to share their ideas.
